We're a crazy company of clowns that is working on various aspects of production - we all help build, create, and imagine the show AUGUSTE: A FAMILY DRAMA, but you can see more about us below:
Meredith Melville is the producing artistic director and is acting in the upcoming production, AUGUSTE: A Family Drama. She plays Cupcake, Crumpett, and helped develop the story. Meredith as an MFA in Directing and has a background in improv. She spent ten years in Chicago and performed with Cupid Players, The Alliance, Recapitulation, Chick Magnets, COSM Chicago, Misfits, and Second City Training Center's Musical Improv House Ensemble, Infinite Sundaes. She is trilled to be back on stage, and creating new work with such a great group!
Ashley Rogers is a costumer by trade, but has dabbled in kid wrangling, art, and acting. She is a band member in our upcoming production, AUGUSTE, and wrote the original outline for the project. In addition to creating our first production, she has an MFA in Costume Design and Technology from University of Memphis.
Kim Britt is a scenic designer, theatre instructor, and all-around goofball. Currently finishing her third and final year as an MFA candidate, she is also an avid job-hunter. Recent designs include "Pinkalicious" for New Day Children's Theatre, and the play you're about to watch. She hopes you enjoy the show, because theatre is meant to be fun. Play with love.
Mario Hoyle is extremely excited to be a part of this production! He recently graduated with BFA in Theatre from UT at Chattanooga. He was last seen on the TheatreWorks stage play Bernardo in Hamlet as well as the Hattiloo Stage playing Clancy Hope in Mr. Rickey Calls a Meeting. Other works include By the Way meet Vera Stark (UTC), and The Good Person of Setzuan (UTC). He would like to thank Meredith for giving him the opportunity to work on this amazing project. Also would like to thank his Mom and little brothers for their support.
Elizabeth Kellicut is your ringleader for this production. Sprinkles, it's a family name. She has a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Memphis and has been featured in various credits, most notably roles like Lucy in the Threepenny Opera, Ursula in Bye Bye Birdie, and Babe in Crimes of the Heart. She is so excited to lend a voice to this production and clown around - pun intended - with her fellow cast mates. Oh, also, she's the makeup artist for this show, so she's the one making this crew look goooood.
